Wall Drug, Badlands, Mayhem has begun

Alternate route out of Sturgis, turned out to be a wonderful surprise of rolling Meadows and  ranches. There were herds of cows, elk & deer. We then feasted on a wonderful breakfast at Wall  Drug and hung out with Annie Oakley.

We filled up our water bottles before heading to the Badlands National Park. We stopped several times to enjoy the vistas and photo shoot the amazing views at every turn.

We then went back to Wall Drug for homemade pie & ice cream lunch due to accident on the Highway. We have seen a few wrecks too many. It is usually with bikes trying to stay with their groups. We headed to Cabelas for Bear Spray for our  next stop & restocked at Walmart. Our ride back we hit bumper to bumper traffic of 4 bikes across. It was tiring & Kathy got a pic of Tom as leader of the PAC.

The ride thru town was pure mayhem with 1000's of bikes converging. There were people set up along the route with" flash your tit's" signs then "last chance"! Lol!

Buffalo Chip and other campgrounds are packed.

We made it back exhausted but able to tell the tale.

Time to start taking the shuttles!
